What to expect…

Our services start at 10am on Sunday morning and they last for around 70 minutes. On Sundays we spend time singing songs and thanking God, then we pray and give tithes and offerings. Please don't feel pressured to donate if you are visiting. We then continue worshiping God by hearing a message from the Bible and responding as He leads. Afterwards the fun isn't over as people encourage each other and celebrate everything that God is doing here, and chat until we turn the lights off!

Praise & Worship

Our praise and worship band normally kicks off our worship service. We have a wonderful team of singers, musicians, and production people that come to church early to make our services possible. Our worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary music. Our goal is to create a diverse worship experience that everyone can enjoy.

What does that look like?

A message from the Bible

Our pastor preaches both topical and expository sermons, usually through books of the Bible. Each teaching series has a theme that directly applies to our lives. These messages help us understand the Bible more and provide much needed context for our own studies. They also provide an opportunity for people to hear from God as well as be directed and guided by Him. And each message is recorded so you can always catch up if you miss one!

How long do services last?
Our worship services last about 70 minutes. You can also catchup with past services on our Youtube channel @bbcalbany
Am I expected to donate money?
Each week we set aside a few minutes to take up tithes and offerings. This is not something we expect visitors to participate in, but you are welcome to give if you would like to. You can find more info at www.bbcalbany/give.
What if I don't know the songs you are singing?
If this is your first time attending a church service you will probably hear lots of songs that you are not familiar with. We make sure to put song words on the screen in the room so that people can sing along if they’d like to.
What do I do if I want to ask a question, or need prayer?
At the end of each service, our pastor has a response time at the back of the church. If you have any questions or need prayer, then please come to the back of the church.
