Camp Theme

What is CONNECT?

The CONNECT camp option allows students to participate in team building exercises each day along with Bible studies.

What do I have to bring?

A detailed packing list will be provided to you. However, you will need roughly 7 pairs of clothes, shoes for rec, worship, and showers, toiletries, Bible, notebook, sheets/sleeping bag, and a pillow. YES YOU CAN BRING SNACKS!

How will we get there?

We will take the church bus that is 25 person capacity. Some leaders will take students and luggage in their own vehicles.

What time do we leave?

We will MEET at the church at 8am and LEAVE at 8:30am.

How does rooming work?

Rooms will be assigned. You will share a room with one other student. Bathrooms are likely communal.

Do I have to participate in rec/games?

Yes. The point of rec isn't just to have fun but to have fun together and build relationships. The bonds built in rec carry over to Bible study.

What is the schedule like?

The schedule is FAST PACED. You will move from one thing to another quickly. Breakfast in the morning, kickstart, CONNECT (rec or Bible study), lunch, CONNECT (rec or Bible study), free time, dinner, worship, church group time.

What is "Pack vs. Pride"?

Pack: Wolves, Blue
Pride: Lions, Red

This is a competition between students that lasts all throughout camp. 1 week before camp starts, we will be assigned a team. We will compete to earn points and beat the other youth groups!

Whatever team we are assigned, we will wear those colors throughout the week to earn extra points.
